EIN AUSFLUG IN LONDON MIT XAVIER BRAY UND BLUEBELL

Mungo & Maud nimmt Sie mit auf einen Ausflug in London mit einem ganz besonderen Gast. Kunsthistoriker und Direktor der The Wallace Collection, Xavier Bray & sein entzückender Mops Bluebell teilen ihre Lieblingsadressen für einen perfekten Tag in der Stadt.

Wir spazieren durch die Kensington Gardens und schwimmen im Serpentine Swimming Club um 8.00 Uhr morgens. Bluebell sitzt an einer der Bänke und wartet geduldig, bis ich aus dem Wasser komme. Manchmal jagt sie zum Spaß einem Schwan hinterher, aber nie aggressiv.

We then have coffee together at the Monocle Café in Chiltern street, a trendy coffee bar that attracts the local intelligentsia.

Bluebell then comes up to my office at the Wallace Collection, Manchester Square, using the back route to avoid the galleries and public area (she knows she is not allowed there!).

She settles down in her favourite bed and becomes Lady Wallace for the day, sometimes attending meetings and making sure everybody is well and ready to offer a bit of dog love to anyone who needs it.

Bluebell loves lunches in Marylebone with a particular fondness for St.Christopher’s Place, especially now that it has been pedestrianised. She particularly likes Patty & Bun, the lamb burger is her favourite.
